Rain on your wedding day is something that people fear - but lovers Poppy and Dean took it in their stride and didn’t let it alter their plans for their wedding on a breathtaking private property in Longford, Tasmania. Sculpted gardens played host to a dramatic ceremony, with strings sheltered under large umbrellas and an oboe taking cover in the doorway, Poppy made her way to Dean as their guests looked on. A touching ceremony moved on to an intimate reception within the dining room of the home. Hand calligraphy menus, vintage tableware, crystal glassware and an abundance of floral and fruit made for a romance filled tablescape that elevated the environment around it. Far from letting the dampness impact their day Poppy and Dean worked with photographer Bonnie Jenkins to capture some truly magical moments which were only possible due to the conditions.
